Gritz Music Magazine Features Vince Gill in November

Gritz is proud to feature a provocative, wide-ranging conversation with Vince Gill on the eve of his groundbreaking four CD set of 43 original songs.

Cincinnati, Ohio (Billboard Publicity Wire) November 3, 2006 -- "There was no skin involved. I didn't drop my pants, but they got the message. I flipped them off and the police all gave me a standing O. It was really surreal. It was like a scene from Spinal Tap."

What is country music star and expert guitarist Vince Gill talking about? Stay tuned for the end-of-year edition of Gritz Music Magazine coming out in the first week of November to find out. Gill has just released his most ambitious project yet, a four-CD collection of 43 new and original songs that highlight both his singing as well as his exceptional talents on guitar and mandolin. To celebrate this historic undertaking, Gill has come to Gritz for an in-depth cover interview that captures the artist at this most ambitious point in his career. The home for Gritz Music Magazine is here – www.gritz.net.

There was no skin involved. I didn't drop my pants, but they got the message. I flipped them off and the police all gave me a standing O. It was really surreal. It was like a scene from Spinal Tap.
Also featured in this upcoming issue of Gritz;

Since going all digital at the beginning of 2006, Gritz Music Magazine has published edition after edition of original content featuring exclusive interviews, CD and concert reviews, and music news centering on the best of America's roots music scene. Cover interviews in the past few months have included talks with guitar phenom Derek Trucks, Rock and Roll Hall Of Famer Artimus Pyle of Lynyrd Skynyrd fame, rock legend Buddy Miles, and actor, director, musician Billy Bob Thornton. Other exclusive interviews in 2006 have included guitar whiz Bryan Sutton, singer Marshall Chapman, living legend Dr. Ralph Stanley, country great Marty Stuart, Luther Dickinson of the North Mississippi Allstars, on-the-edge bluegrass musician Jim VanCleve, country rebel David Alan Coe, blues piano great Big Joe Duskin, original Marshall Tucker Band member Doug Gray, and many others.

With print magazines and newspapers on the wane, as the average age of a print newspaper reader rises to 55 while the upstart My Space site reaches 70 million members, the decision for Gritz Music Magazine to go digital was an easy one. Since making the change, Gritz has risen to over 400,000 unique monthly visitors with over 1,250,000 monthly hits recorded as of September 2006. Ad dollars are being directed towards online publications by the billions these days, and we'd love to have you onboard.
