Indie Rap from 15Five's DaARMY in Power Rotation on KBBT San Antonio is first-time event
Group captures Power Rotation airplay without being signed to a Label
San Antonio, TX (Billboard Publicity Wire) November 10, 2006 -- 15Five is the first undistributed independent production company to have a song in "Power Rotation" at industry recognized KBBT Hot 98.5 The Beat in San Antonio. On October 9, "It Wobble" by DaARMY went into Power Rotation and has been played an average of 10 times per day, as reported by the station and verified by Broadcast Data Services.
It was on September 25 that KBBT originally placed "It Wobble" into the Crunk or Junk competition, where the song received 82 Crunk out of 98 calls within the first 15-minutes. The station placed the song into regular airplay after that, broadcasting it 1 to 3 times per day. At the end of each day for two weeks the song was in the Top 5 requests, leading to it's placement in Power Rotation airplay. One month after being placed into Power Rotation, the track remains in the Top 5 requests at the station.
"It Wobble" is now being played on a second station in San Antonio, KELZ Power 106.7.

San Antonio based 15Five Entertainment has sold nearly 10,000 mix-tapes featuring the single "It Wobble". After the Power Rotation airplay began showing up on BDS, management company BeanBagOne Entertainment in California received contacts from representatives of Universal/Republic, Universal/Motown, and Warner/Asylum, among others, requesting music. A new full-length Master recording containing 13 tracks by DaARMY featuring "It Wobble," "#1 Fan," and "Sexaphone" is available for license and distribution.
