Comin Atcha Distribution Inks Deal with Gospel Artist Montrel Darrett

Comin Atcha Distribution announces the signing of Gospel Artist, Songwriter and Producer Montrel Darrett and his new label, Oasis Music Group to a distribution deal.

Boston, MA (Billboard Publicity Wire) January 3, 2007 -- Comin Atcha Distribution (CAD) announces the signing of gospel Artist, Songwriter and Producer Montrel Darrett and his new label, the Oasis Music Group to a distribution deal.

Montrel returns to the music scene after a 6-year hiatus and the lasting buzz created by his solo debut, "Chronicles of the Soul" (EMI Records). He also may be remembered for his stints with John P Kee's New Life Community Choir and the renown gospel group, Commissioned for which he wrote and performed the hit song, Until My Change Comes, which was selected as one of Commissioned greatest hits. Montrel was also the master mind behind songs for artists such as Virtue, Sharon Riley, Londa Larmond, and Chosen. Montrel has been nominated for Stellar and Dove Awards as well as the ASCAP Writers and Juno Awards in year 2000. He remains one of gospel's most creative and innovative artists today.

We are very happy about the acquisition of Montrel Darrett and the Oasis Music Group Label. I've always had an appreciation for Montrel's originality and sound, and I'm glad to be a part of Montrel's comeback into the industry with his sophomore project 'Soul Metal.'

The new CD, Soul Metal, is produced, written and arranged by Montrel for Oasis Music Group. The new single entitled, "Change has Come," is a display of his love for Gospel and Soul. This inspirational song states that no matter what hardships we may go through in life one thing is certain; God will bring about a Change.
