iNDiGO TV, NYC-Official Launch Party March 10th, 2007
iNDiGO TV celebrates launch with 4 indie bands and Talent Search Finals.
New York, NY (Billboard Publicity Wire) February 23, 2007 -- iNDiGO TV -- the New York City based, live, interactive television network showcasing user generated content will celebrate its official launch party on Saturday, March 10, 2007, 7.30 PM at Crash Mansion, located at 199 Bowery, New York, New York. Admission is free with advance website registration or $15 at the door.
Popular indie bands, M-Lab, Butterthief, Still Division and Leroy Justice will perform and the final results for Indigo's "Talent Search & Casting Competition" will be revealed.
Viewers will decide which 5 contestants will be invited for the "Finals" on March 10th. Contestants can enter the "Talent Search" by uploading their videos to the "Casting Hall" on iNDiGO TV's website. Submissions will be accepted until March 8th for consideration.
iNDiGO TV is paving the way for the future of entertainment and social networking by providing a cross platform for participation, creativity and community interactivity. iNDiGO TV's text message-based LIVE talk show provides the 18-34 year old demographic an outlet for self-created content. Its unique technology combines the web, cell phones and television giving the artist and viewer the tools to participate however they choose.
The TV broadcast is supported by the user generated content web site www.indigo.tv.
The web site capabilities make participation simple. Content can be uploaded directly from a video camera, file, web cam or cell phone. Submissions can even be edited online.
The content that receives the most votes from the website is broadcast on the air and viewers ultimately decide what music videos and even hosts will appear by voting via text message during the live show.
iNDiGO TV airs in New York City Thursdays 8:00-9:00 pm, on RCN cable channel 8 and Time Warner Cable channel 35.
