The DnA Project may very well be the penultimate result of the steps taken by these two musical giants with their independently released album: Top Secret EP.

The DnA Project is breaking new ground in scarcely explored territory. They've built their own studio and financed the release of their first album, Top Secret EP, all without the assistance of a major record label and are building a steady following via their MySpace website. The dedicated support of their fans and the unexpected surprise support from established bands and professionals continue to fuel their unusual fire.

"The reaction to the EP and everything we've been doing has been a huge surprise and encouragement to us," lead singer and co-founder (A)l explained, "we would have never been able to reach the people and fellow musicians we have were this just five years ago. MySpace has really helped us prove a point really: People want to hear something new and different, and that's why we're here. In a sense, we seek to cast off the old Gods and bring the process back to where it belongs: from the band to the fans."

According to their site, fans will always be able to get the Top Secret EP for free directly from the band. Not only that, but the band has stated anyone on their friends list has a chance at random drawings for free signed copies of the album, shirts, free tickets and other merchandise.
