Florida Rocker's Audiocrash Set to Release Time Sensitive Material on May 10th, 2008

Two Well-Traveled Florida Rockers Speed Down An Exciting New Musical Road with their duo Audiocrash and some very Time Sensitive Material.

(Billboard Publicity Wire) April 29, 2008 -- When you call yourselves AudioCrash and one of your members last name is Maseratti, it's a good idea to have a musical vibe that's turbocharged yet idles well in a debut project that's built for speed. The Ft. Lauderdale based indie rock band--featuring Guy Strzepeck on lead vocals and Craig Maseratti on electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, drums, piano and backing vocals--dubbed their high impact CD Time Sensitive Material, so listeners better check out what everyone on Myspace has been experiencing before the ultra-prolific AudioCrash's next collection--currently in the process of writing and recording--hits the shelves early next year. Although the album was produced by Maseratti and Strzepeck, the band when playing live consists of talented, well seasoned veteran musicians Keith Rose (bass), Nick Roy (drums) and Cliff Wallach (guitar).

Formed in 2007, AudioCrash blends the intensity and urgency of Maseratti's mostly guitar-driven melodies with Strzepeck's plaintive and passionate lyric's/phrasing to create a unique and powerful mix of edgy, hook-filled songs that cover everything from the ups and downs of relationships to those dark moments in our lives when we're "Chasing Sunlight" from our eyes. Another key track draws upon the death of the death of Marvel comic icon "Captain America" as a metaphor for our modern world, while "Leprechauns Waltz" is an all-instrumental, upbeat Irish flavored rock song.

The songs everyone's talking about up front, however, are the spirited, uplifting rockers "Every Day" and "Lifeline," which couldn't be further apart in meaning and sound. "Every Day" taps into the deep emotions of a soldier missing his family while fighting in the Middle East. The two bandleaders shot an incredible promotional video for "Every Day," which features them wearing military fatigues and holding real M-16s and a controversial "guntar" (half gun, half guitar) as they look through family photos and reminisce. While AudioCrash gets ready to launch a college radio campaign, they've been doing a series of exciting showcases in their region, including an opening gig for Gene Loves Jezebel at the Starlight Lounge this past New Year's Eve. In early March 2008, they performed a "Special Sessions" show at the Talent Farm that was simulcast on terrestrial radio, XM Radio and the streamed live on the internet. The band is adding future showcases leading up to the release of "Time Sensitive Material".

Every indie band uses Myspace as a marketing tool, but Maseratti and Strzepeck actually used it as a litmus test to see if the material they were writing was ready for prime time. Separately, the two had busy resumes full of interesting rock bands. Maseratti was with popular 90s outfits The Stand and The 11th Hour. Strzepeck fronted The Numbskulls aka The Swampcorpse, which was one of Europe's pioneer psychobilly/punk rock bands in the late 80s, and numerous US based alternative bands (Love Smells Like Love, Julius U) in the 90s. Maseratti had recorded a treasure trove of instrumental pop-rock material in recent years that blossomed into potential pop-rock hits once he met Strzepeck and their musical chemistry took over.

Strzepeck says, "For both of us, there's just something so incredible about creating music again. We love the whole creative process, from the moment of inspiration where the song begins to the experience of getting onstage and playing it live so that people can be a part of it.
