Singer-Songwriter Joe Colledge Releases "American Dream" Single on OMS Records Label

Morristown, NJ (Billboard Publicity Wire) June 14, 2008 -- Pop-Rock Singer-Songwriter Joe Colledge has just announced the release of his new single, "American Dream", on independent label, OMS Records. The song will be available on iTunes, Amazon, and most major digital distributors through BFM Digital, LLC.

The song is inspired by the events of 9/11 and pays tribute to America's resolve after the tragedy. Colledge had previously released a demo of the song under the title "American Song" on his 2005 LP release, "Convent Station". The track was licensed by Navy Videos and featured as the theme song on their products and merchandise. The new version has just been signed by music publisher, Original Source Music, who will actively promote the song for film and TV placement.

Colledge has been garnering much praise from the indie music community since the release of his previous LP, "Table For One", released in June of 2007. His band has been busy performing in support of the release in such New York Metro area venues as The Bitter End, Maxwell's, and The Saint.

Meanwhile, Joe Colledge is in the studio currently recording his third album, on which "American Dream" will appear. The album is slated for a Spring 2009 release. Be sure to check his website for more news and updates on performances and the new album release date in the future.
