Dirk Quinn Announces a Very Special Live Simulcast of His Solo Acoustic Show at the Jersey Shore on July 24th
An international audience gets to join a New Jersey shore audience as Dirk Quinn simulcasts his very special solo acoustic performance from the Coffee Pot in Sea Isle City.
(Billboard Publicity Wire) July 13, 2008 -- Sunset Live and CD Pulse have teamed up to bring live music fans more eCasts of live concert performances that are shown in HD. Dirk continues to play very special shows and very special concert series throughout the entire summer. The show will be simulcast to fans that have computers and if you have an HD Television, you can feed the Sunset Live / CD Pulse eCast, through that television set.
Don Lichterman, the head of the entire Sunset Label Group makes no bones about why he is doing more eCasts this summer. "Blackbirds sales at iTunes and at retail went from normal amounts every week to being one of our top three sellers, if not the number one seller in the last week. That is no doubt a product of the work on the eCast the band had simulcast from San Francisco about two weeks ago Saturday." Lichterman continues to say that he "loves this way of promoting music," but he also did not "expect to see these results after the first week." "It's not even a question or hearsay where those sales came from last week. These are scanned numbers they brought to me today."
Quinn told his fans and media at his shows this week that the simulcast on July 24th from the Coffee Pot in NJ, will be the first in a few eCasts he has planned with Sunset Live over the next month. There are plans to showcase Quinn's solo performance and to showcase Quinn with his full band. The Dirk Quinn Band is playing live all summer long on the east coast this year. Their "QuinnTet" CD was released to stores on June 24th. The critically acclaimed CD has been reviewed positively by every top music publication and the CD has key placement at top retail stores around the world!
