Sunset Boulevard Billboard Features New Music Recording by The Trevor Pan Show

Pantonic Records announces the release of "It's About Time...," the new music recording of The Trevor Pan Show. Pantonic Records is celebrating the appearance of the recording with an unusual promotional billboard sited on Hollywood's fabled Sunset Boulevard.

Finding a great drummer is like finding an excellent wife -- difficult. But you can't stop life waiting for either one, so for this record I decided to go sans band The Millennium's Last Act: A Tribute to Columbine High School Pink top. White pants. Cute face. Little shoes.

Tempe, AZ (Billboard Publicity Wire) November 4, 2008 -- A billboard on Sunset Boulevard promoting the new music recording "It's About Time…" by artist Trevor Pan of The Trevor Pan Show will be featured for a two-month run beginning today. "Play me. Feel good." a term coined by Pan, is the theme of the billboard campaign and represents the artist's intent to please the ears. Recorded in Mesa, Arizona, at SonicPhish Studios, the self-composed music and lyrics represent a milestone in Pan's career.

"Finding a great drummer is like finding an excellent wife -- difficult. But you can't stop life waiting for either one, so for this record I decided to go sans band," Pan says.

Pan's music, characterized and coined by him as "Freelance Rock," is based on rock with the autonomy of a freelance writer. Such freedom began, and was recognized by the Loveland Reporter Herald, when Pan organized a charity concert called "The Millennium's Last Act: A Tribute to Columbine High School" at 17. The concert featured 10 local bands in Loveland, Colorado, and donated its proceeds to the United Way Healing Fund.

Like Pink Floyd, after high school, and with family encouragement, Pan willingly enrolled in design school, and recently finished a master degree at the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture. Continually writing new music and letting life shape his art, Pan first became acquainted with Hollywood on a school architecture trip. Drawn to the Capitol Records building for the first time, he serendipitously ran into a pretty girl at the corner north of Hollywood and Vine. The chance meeting spawned the line "Pink top. White pants. Cute face. Little shoes." and the song that bears the name of the intersection. Two years later, the disc "It's About Time…" was mastered in the famous building.

To promote the recording, Trevor Pan will make a personal appearance at the Sunset Boulevard billboard on Sunday, November 9, at 10 a.m. to introduce his new music, unplugged, to interested fans. He also will perform at Hollywood's famed Whisky a Go Go at 8 p.m. on the same day.
